Your account

The licence key issued when you subscribed, the installer download while your subscription is active, what Stripe says about the subscription right now, and a way into Stripe's own customer portal for cards, invoices and cancellation.

Signing in

There is no password on this account, and this service has nowhere to put one — there is no password field, no hash and no reset flow anywhere in it. Give the address your subscription is under and a one-time link is emailed to it. The link works once and stops working after fifteen minutes; signing in lasts thirty minutes and then stops. Nothing is kept in this browser, so closing the tab or reloading the page signs you out and asking for another link is one click.

Asking for a link always says the same thing back, whether or not that address has a subscription. That is on purpose: an answer that distinguished the two would hand over the customer list one address at a time.

What is here, and what is in Stripe

A licence key is a record of your subscription rather than a lock on the application. The shipped application still uses a temporary local gate, so the key is not yet what makes the product run, and a subscription state shown here is not enforced on your machine.
